Currently spearheading IFRS 17 Design and Implementation projects in East Africa (Tanzania), the GCC region, and the Far East region, he has collaborated on IFRS 17 initiatives with New India Assurance Co Ltd and S&T Group UAE. With a strong foundation in Life Insurance, Reinsurance, and expertise in trading and service concerns, Kamal brings a wealth of industry knowledge. His credentials include Chartered Accountancy from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, an Associate membership with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, and Licentiate membership with the Insurance Institute of India. His extensive industry knowledge encompasses Finance & Accounts, Underwriting, Claims, Marketing, Risk Management, Compliance, and Internal Audit across India and the Eastern & Southern African Continent. Kunj’s current focus lies in Compliance and Assurance services in Africa and India, where he oversees areas such as Compliance and Internal Audit, Finance and Accounting, and specialized domains including General Insurance, Life Insurance, Health Insurance, Risk Management, and Underwriting.
